Tweety and Fineman: Hillary won tonight's debate. She was "on her game" ... "sounded presidential" |
|
May as well get the spin out the way. You know it's comin'...

5. "Sounded presidential"? |
|
What on earth does that mean anyways? Anytime I hear a media pundit/wanker say this, all it says to me is that they favor this candidate. "Sounded Presidential"? Geez, what low levels of political awareness exist in the chattering classes. Policies don't matter, experience doesn't matter, talent doesn't matter, you just have to "sound presidential". What sorry-ass bull kaka.

So he can have Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham on his program more often to bash her!

15. No-he wants a "subway series" between her and Rudy and he wants Rudy to win... |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-26-07 07:59 PM by jenmito
he's ALWAYS talking about how he thinks "America wants a hero-a tough guy" and he always talks about how when he closes his eyes he pictures Rudy walking with his dust mask on in the rubble like a real leader, etc.

16. She was "focussed" ..."it is hers to lose now"... "she showed poise and control" |
|
I guess we can all tune in to see which are the actual quotes after the debate. Maybe we can have a contest or something?

They must have internal polling or something and he doesn't want to be wrong. I like Obama but I think Edwards did a great job tonight.

24. "sounding presidential" can bo good or bad; tonight she was in a bad way |
|
as they noted, she is stonewalling.
She won't commit to anything. She feels that she doesn't have to and that no good can come from it.
