6. I think it's less a political calculation than a business one
They've decided Hillary has it sewn up, and they're going to focus on her. They've decided *she's* the story.

You might think they'd realize that no one has voted yet, and there are months to go before the first primary. But I think they've made this their story, simple as that.

7. They shouldn't make her the absolute story. Too much can happen between now and the primaries.
Too much can happen during and after the primaries.

But of course these pundits think they are pundits. But they are nothing but has beens.

But it surely seems that's what they're doing.

Perhaps there's not enough dramatic tension in a race with 7-8 people all contending. Much tighter focus and more interesting when you can get it down to 2 -- or barring that, 1 against the crowd.

I'm not sure that political calculations are what's driving this, is all I meant. Not that it gets us in any better shape -- the result is the same, regardless of the motivation.
