MSNBC viewer voting results. |
|
There's an interactive feature on the MSNBC.com site which allows people to vote how they view the individual candidates. They participated before and after the debate.
You could vote Plus, Negative or Minus for each of the candidates -- those were the only three choices.
By the time I did this -- probably about 11:00 Eastern or so, here were the results-- I'm only comparing the PLUS info
in the Before vote there were 11,259 votes (or respondents - don't know which), compared to 2,668 After the Debate (first number following the candidate's name is Before, followed by the After - duh). These are percentages.
And remember, these are not reflective of who the participant would vote for, but rather their view of the candidate.
Biden 19 - 31
Clinton 28 - 27
Dodd 8 - 12
Edwards 29 - 35
Gravel 8 - 14
Kucinich 17 - 27
Obama 35 -32
Richardson 20 15

1. Interesting. Biden has made the biggest gain, ahead of Clinton |
|
Maybe we're finally waking up and realizing the seriousness of this primary. This poll, though admittedly non-scientific, shows Joe Biden making a very sizable gain putting him in 3rd place, just one point behind Obama. There is hope for our Party yet!

The Establishment $Monied candidates, Clobama, lost ground. This debate was more Issues Oriented with Timmy demanding specifics. The Triangulators didn't hold up.
Even Tweety seems to have picked up the clues about Triangulation, though he calls it that "wierd Clinton Pyramid thing".

WAKE UP AND REALIZE HE IS A USED CAR SALESMAN. I MET HIM once and he is two different people, one real life and one on tv. Biden is real on and off tv. https://secure.ga3.org/03/joebiden/nQ7sOhb71wepo?

6. I thought Edwards and Biden were very good tonight. Hillary had some |
|
good moments, especially her challenging Russert on the SS exchange, and her save on the Torture question when Russert tried to blind side her.
Kucinich did a great job on the bankruptcy question. He came across principled and strong.
Richardson did good so did Dodd. Obama had a bad night, but not a total disaster. I was hoping for some fire, but it appears he was feeling pretty sick. Gravel was interesting and made some good points.
