Hillary supporter Susan Estrich tries to take John Edwards out in her latest Fox News column

It's snidely vicious. Edwards might want to post it on his website as it's sure to piss off his supporters.

16. Right 'cos Murdoch and Hillary aren't friends right? One didn't raise money for the other, right?
Only a moran would believe that, right?

Too bad it's true....

Yeah, I want to get behind a candidate supported by Murdoch...

Who's the moran now?

she's going to have to try harder.
Lame? Yes. Vicious? Not so much.

9. I'm in agreement on petty and I'll raise you pathetic :)
I think she looks like an idiot with the prettyboy stuff.
Thankfully the Edwards camp has decided to take on those kinds of attacks. I just dont think anyone will get any serious traction with that stuff this time around.

7. This isn't the first hit piece that Susan did for the Hillary campaign
The Hillary campaign through co-conspirators Faux News and Susan earlier did a hit piece on Elizabeth Edwards. Doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out what's going on here.

thanks

14. Please
Your candidate got caught with her had in the Faux Cookie Jar. How desperate it is for the Clinton campaign to use Faux News?

8. Yep - you're right
It will tick off Edwards supporters. I think I'll give $100 tomorrow instead of the $75 I was going to give this month.

13. I can not abide Susan.
She is one mean awful bitch. And, this article will really piss off the Edwards supporters as she hits the nail squarely on the head. The truth hurts.

15. Susan Estrich is first and foremost a FOX pundit.
Edited on Fri Sep-28-07 08:43 AM by Mass
It is her job to attack Democrats. It is grossly unfair to pin that on Hillary. (or should we pin that on Dukakis as well, as she was his campaign manager?).

[I have not read the article, but I can imagine how bad it is.)

19. The comparison with Bill Clinton is interesting, but she doesn't spell out the one big difference
Depth.

Clinton was/is slick, but he is also incredibly knowledgable and articulate about a wide range of subjects. No matter how bad he slipped up or no matter how much he disappointed you with his ideological hair-splitting, you knew he was still more than up to the job intellectually.

One doesn't get anything of the sort from Edwards.
