1. Can you elaborate slightly?.... Did Bush rescind his veto promise?
Because the House already passed the bill with a non veto proof margin, so whatever the Senate did, well, if Bush vetoes it's not a safe margin in and of itself. So... did Bush rescind his veto promise?

11. Good for them. We have a bicameral legislature, and there is another chamber of Congress
And the House of Representatives did not clear the bill by a veto proof margin.
