Your Wish List:: Who would you love to see run for Prez? |
|
Edited on Thu Sep-27-07 10:56 PM by Armstead
Who would you like to see run for President who is not a candidate? Who could you support enthusiastically and positively?
Okay, perhaps it's just idle speculation. But it could also be a constructive exercise in terms of figuring out what people want in a candidate, both personally and in terms of their positions.
Another cavaet. I realize Gore is high on many wish lists. But in addition to him, who else do you believe would make a great candidate and president who is not in the current field?
My list would include Dr. Howard Dean, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Rep. Jan Schiakovsky (hope I didn't mangle the spelling), Teddy the K, Sen. Barbara Boxer, Sen. Webb (he is a populist in addition to his Iraq positions), Sen Byron Dorgan, among others.
Anyone else care to toss in their wish list?

I'd pay big to see that.
Actually, I'd love to see a Kucinich/RFK, Jr ticket.

Kurt Vonnegut, if he were still alive. (Although, in his current state he'd be worlds better than the present Retard. )
* My apologies to good retards everywhere.

16. John Kerry, but he's already ruled out running. My next choice would be Al Gore. |

Or Barbara Boxer. :)
Or Dick Durbin. :)

21. If Obama wasn't running: Feingold--probably most principled |
|
in the Senate. Jim Webb--closer to my conservative-Dem ideals. For the R's, Hagel, just in case our candidate stumbles or gets run over by a Zamboni.
