3. Good call.
Anyone, Democrat or Republican, who supports the continuation of the war in Iraq, does not have my support.

11. So...who is a real Democrat, then?
Edited on Fri Sep-28-07 10:36 AM by Kelly Rupert
I think by the time you're calling the majority of Democrats "DINOs," it's your definition of Democrat that's incorrect, not theirs.

14. I don't see anyone ...
Calling the "majority" of Democrats DINOs. Or did you mean the majority of congressional Democrats?

15. I would mean the majority of elected Democrats,
and perhaps the majority of the electorate, which keeps happily voting them in and saying they approve of their performance*.

*individual performance, not the performance of Congress as a whole.

2. No offense, but what a crock of happy horse-hockey!
When the No. 1 thread is about impeaching the (D) House Speaker... it's clear the Party isn't representing Democrats anymore.

5. Damn right - we expected results, and we aren't getting any
Rove and Gonzales were allowed to leave under their own power. We're getting closer to invading Iran. Domestic surveillance is still on the rise. Torture is still legal. And me, I'm getting rather frustrated.

6. True but not an impeachable offense
The Democratic leadership has proven to be spineless, paper tigers. The party is a joke. They've made life easy for the Republican minority, engaging in ridiculous nonsense like the Move-On resolution and rolling over for filibuster threats.

Lack of backbone is not impeachable. Unfortunately the result is going to be a disgusted, uninspired electorate who just might not be too inclined to vote Democratic in '08.

12. Free thinkers...
Free thinkers usually question the motives and actions of leaders and authority figures.
It's better than blindly following them down whatever path they choose to lead you.

16. I don't know. Maybe I'd support her if she, say . . .
. . . DIDN'T give the Failure Fuhrer blank checks on continual war funding, like a rubberstamp Republican congress did.

We're catering to fascists. There ain't no other way of spinning this. There is no mission. There is no "win". This is a completely useless waste of soldiers lives and our tax dollars.
