Is the Edwards campaign giving up? Joe Trippi in 2003...
When he was running Howard Dean's campaign...now running Edwards campaign...

"This campaign believes that any Democratic campaign that opted into the matching-funds system has given up on the general election," Trippi said in December of 2003. "There is absolutely no way you can sustain the hits that are going to come from now until August with a $45 million limit."

15. I despise Susan Estrich
I regard her support of Hillary as I do Hitler's fondness for dogs.

Not indicative of either's character.

6. He might as well. He's not going to win.
The sooner he accepts that, the sooner he can get back to NC and really start to enjoy life at Chateau Edwards.

16. Although I agree
That some Clinton Posters seem to take glee with make hay of non issues, this one is a bit strange. It does make it extremely difficult for Edwards to be competitive in the General Election. And coming at the end of the QTR!
