Kerry, Edwards, Dean and WI exit poll on Iraq War |
|
12% of voters strongly approved of the decision to go to war with Iraq. Among them they voted:
Edwards 39% Kerry 26% Dean 26% (?!?)
19% of voters had some approval for the war. They voted:
Edwards 43% Kerry 37% Dean 16%
23% of voters had some disapproval of the war. They voted:
Edwards 39% Kerry 41% Dean 15%
43% of voters strongly disapproved of the war. They voted:
Edwards 28% Kerry 43% Dean 19%
I know most people aren't one issue voters, but I was oddly surprised that Dean did well with strong supporters of the war. Also despite Kerry and Edwards having fairly similar stances, Edwards does far better with war supporters and Kerry does far better with those opposed to the war.
It is food for thought. What thought I don't know though.

it's as simple as that. And he's a real bonafide liberal so it's easy to undertand why.
