In shocking news...Democrats like Hillary Clinton (at least in Iowa)
24. Now, I have a few questions about Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. In general, is your opinion of her very favorable, mostly favorable, mostly unfavorable, or very unfavorable?

(number on the left is total voters while the number on the right is likely caucus goers)

BASED ON DEMOCRATIC VOTERS
Total Likely Democratic Caucus-Goer

28 Very favorable 30
52 Mostly favorable 47
12 Mostly unfavorable 15
5 Very unfavorable 6
* Never heard of (VOL.) 0
3 Can't rate 2

1. There's no reason to be starting endless triumphalist HRC threads
All you do is alienate the voters whose passionate support you'd have to have after Denver.

The party would gain nothing from HRC being crowned in January. That would make it impossible for anyone to feel enthusiasm or interest in the race for the rest of the year.

We need a REAL contest that goes down to the wire, with real debate.

5. All this OP shows is part of a poll showing that in Iowa Democrats like Hillary.
The same poll shows an incredibly tight race when dealing with the nomination.

The race is far from over.

12. Does it really matter what DU does or thinks regarding this?
I'm not pro-Hillary, but I see no reason why here supporters shouldn't post positive news regarding her. And this was not a gloating OP.

3. I suggest you read Glenn Greenwald in Salon regarding Hillary and your polls.

4. So is this poll invalid?

And by the way Greenwald was complaining about Schoen's analysis no the validity of the polling.

7. Greenwald is correct that Rasmussen poll commentary by Mr Schoen should note his Dem party
- and indeed DLC - background.

But Schoen is not changing the numbers, he is commenting on those numbers.

And Greenwald is not saying Schoen is affecting Rasmussen polling or that the numbers are wrong for some reason - he just wants complete disclosure on a commentators background.

And in response to Greenwald's complaint, Ras while not pointing out the Hillary head of polling - Mr Penn - as a former partner of Schoen - does now say in Schoen's biography this line: "Schoen was President Bill Clinton's research and strategic consultant during the 1996 reelection campaign."

The connection to Hillary of this commentator is thus a little less hidden.

And for the record while Hillary's lead is real and impressive (based on the polls), early leads mean little in terms of who wins - if history is any guide.

11. DU is definitely not representative of reality
Best example is the high Kucinich support here vs. the 2% in the real world. Never take this place too seriously.

8. Obama Leading Caucus Goers
Also Leading 2nd Choice.

That is all that matters in that poll.

Even after Bill has stumped throughout the state, Obama is still winning Iowa.

13. In more shocking news, Hillary has enabled another illegal, immoral war
This time against Iran. <http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x1943512>

And you wonder why people are so disgusted with her.
