Poll question: What weighs most heavily in deciding which candidate you support?
Edited on Sun Sep-30-07 01:21 PM by Sparkly
I know, I know, "All of the above." But which is the PRIMARY (no pun intended) factor?

And I also know it's easier to think of what factors we weigh AGAINST other candidates, but this is a different question.

1. 1and 2.
I voted "policy positions," but it doesn't matter to me what the candidate says during the campaign, if there is no record behind him/her to support those words.

A candidate's record validates or invalidates their positions on issues.

4. Same here. So, I'll balance out your vote for answer #2 with a vote for answer #1.

5. Integrity and leadership which I think is covered under #1.
For me, PP,P,PI are meaningless if there is no chance of enacting them. Without integrity there is no way to tell if they are window dressing or real. Jumping on the band wagon and co-opting the ideas of others is not leadership.
