It takes time, but he is getting more exposure and the frontrunners are getting under heavy scrutiny right now. I am confident he will move up.

8. When I first started looking for Biden videos on YouTube there were just |
|
a very few people offering them, and usually only in the context of a debate or a guest appearance on a show. Then, Biden's campaign started posting them. Now, every time I do a Biden search on YouTube, more and more people are highlighting him. That encourages me to believe more and more people are hearing his message. Look out, Hillary, Barack and John -- Joe's coming up fast!! :7

about Biden and there were some very positive comments, but only a few. Now there are lots of videos with a bunch of upbeat comments. Things have really taken off in a relatively short period of time and with very little money.

the rest are just bush light. Wish we could get these two to the top tier and make their agenda's the debate standards.

23. Biden saved her ass by not allowing 2 things to be brought infront of the committee. |
|
1. She failed the lie detector test. So Biden left that out. He knew Orrin Hatch would eat her alive because of it.
2. He kept a former collegue of hers from testifying. This guy wanted to tell the committee how Anita boasted about dating Thomas. She said it was good for her career. Biden kept her from more humility.
And he voted against her.

24. Wrong - she did not fail the lie detector test |
|
and Thomas refused to take one.
You know nothing about who did and did not testify.
Try getting your information from a legitimate source.

25. I stand corrected about the lie detector test - but I did read there was a problem |
|
with it.
However - about the collegue that was stopped from testifying:
The strongest evidence refuting Miss Hill's version of the circumstances surrounding her job change came from two people who, because of time pressures, were never called to testify before the Judiciary Committee.
Andrew Fishel was the head of the personnel office in the civil-rights division of the Department of Education during Miss Hill's tenure there. In a interview, he said that when she arrived at the department in late August 1981, he personally briefed her on her status as a Schedule A attorney. A year later, in 1982, Mr. Fishel continued, "we also had a discussion just prior to her leaving and going over the EEOC. . . .She told me she was going over as a Schedule A. She said she liked being a Schedule A because she was not subject to dismissal. . . .She said she was personally and professionally flattered to be going with Thomas, that it was a great career move. She showed no hesitancy."

many other women came forward to testify about Clarence's problem. They were discouraged from doing so by Judiciary staff. Wasn't that a good thing for all of those women.
I knew in 1983-84 that Reagan's appointment to head the EEOC was the biggest serial sexual harasser in the government. I was living in Oklahoma at the time and doing a research/writing project on the EEOC. I was fortunate in that I had good contacts and was able to interview many female Women's Studies and Law professors from around the country. To a person they mentioned Thomas and the fact his appointment was a cruel joke played on women by the Reagan White House and that his appointment was likely designed to ruin the commission. Also, I had many female friends working in D.C. on house and senate staffs (both Repubs and Dems) and they all knew about his problem.
I was in the middle of nowhere and knew all about this guy for 7 years before his appointment. No way Biden didn't know.
