Richardson has sound 3rd quarter of fundraising

WASHINGTON (AP) - Bill Richardson's presidential campaign says it's raised more than $5 million during the last three months. That brings the total for the New Mexico governor for the year to more than $18 million.

Those numbers could solidify his position behind the top three polling and fundraising Democrats: Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards.

Richardson is the only presidential campaign from either party to release end-of-quarter estimates. All candidates must file detailed financial reports by October 15th.

I've been wondering what Dean has been up to (other than dealing with Florida and Michigan, that is.) The new primary schedule is going to be interesting!

Glad to hear that Gov. Richardson is doing well--he's my gov., and I'm taking a good look at his positions and experience. He's the best qualified, I think, but definitely not the most popular.

There are a lot of local stories about him. I don't know if he'll have time to make it to the balloon fiesta next weekend or not...I hope so, but he might be too busy campaigning.
