Needed PSA: At this stage of the game
Doctor Dean led the polls.

Now, as far as I have checked NOBODY has cast a vote in the only poll that counts

So remember folks, we have had no votes yet

Now let me ask you all, how many of you remember voting for Doctor Dean in November of 2006?

It is NOT a done deal as to who will be either the Democratic or Republican Nominee

Carry on

(Damn I hate to have to remind people of this little factoid... after all we do not YET live in a country where elections are merely sugestions. We are close, but not there yet)

1. i was a Dean supporter and i felt really attached to his campaign, he was the first candidate
i ever really got excited about, when i saw him i actually felt a glimmer of hope. Yes i voted for Kerry in the general, i also gave him money, i liked Kerry but liked Dean a lot more.

2. Me too, but you know exactly why I posted this
I was sure he was going to win... and then came Iowa.

I fear we will repeat that history since that is a historical trend

You cannot tell who will win this early in the race

3. i was heartbroken, it was as bad a day as when Gore said he was done and Bush won.
i have no clue who will win the nod, who knows who will have a "Macaca" moment or something else?

4. I'm expecting it, but the MSM will probably try NOT to cover
it if this comes from any of their designated hitters

And that day wasn't as bad to me as December 12, 2000... that had the feeling of a coup.

I remember turning to my husband and telling him, we will be at war before long

6. thats funny because we lived in Texas when Bush was the Governor and my husband isn't very political...
but he knew i was horrified Bush was running and he said "Don't worry hon, when the rest of the country knows him like we do he will never win". He was right, too bad it didn't stick.

unfortunately.

7. So did in 2006
but I can almost bet that when all is said and done the field will look differently.

As is, the local polls don't follow national trends
