It's not winner take all. Edwards can't catch up quickly. Edwards can win primaries on super tuesday, but as long as Kerry wins a few primaries and stays within 5-10% of Edwards in the states that he loses, it'll be almost impossible for Edwards to catch Kerry.

They would tend to go to Kerry if not split evenly.
