Neil Boortz , Rush, Sean Insanity And Glenn Beck Hate Hillary |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-01-07 06:20 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
I was listening to those yahoos on the radio...In Glen Beck's and Sean Insanity's defense at least their attacks on Hillary aren't laden with sexism...
Gawd... They feel so threatened by her...Rush and Boortz certainly have a castration complex...

Exactly the kind of enemies one would want if you were running for President...
They will be a very effective campaign tool for Hillary if she is the nominee...

3. I saw Matthews on Hardball saying some shit about the "Clinton Cackle" |
|
Apparently her laugh annoys people. Then he had a panel on analyzing what her laugh "really" means. This the sort of nitpicking that dooms Dem presidential candidates. Gee Chris, why not just call her a witch/bitch like you know you want to.

There's a danger of a backlash among women who make up 52% of the electorate ...Also, Hillary has the passive-aggressive act down pat...
Oh, Boortz said women shouldn't be allowed to vote because they are slaves to their emotions... As if some men aren't...

Things that have no bearing with intelligent folk, but to the American Idol watching public and the media who love good sexcapades? Well, that's a different story.
We will be bogged down by this... and that is a shame!

As I said, Hillary Clinton has the "passive agressive" method of deflecting attacks down perfectly... I am impressed , so impressed by her toughness, over the years, not just recently...

15. I was talking about presidential elections which I think are a completely different |
|
animal. The vote for Prez is probably the least "rational" vote a person makes. The issues don't matter. If enough people are convinced that she's a "nails on a blackboard, nagging bitch" then they will even vote for a GOPer, knowing this GOPer will be an advocate of endless war in Iraq and beyond. Makes no sense.

If they run against Edards they will call him a pampered metrosexual and probably have him in a tutu by the time the election comes...
If they run against Obama they will probably have OBL as his running mate by the time the election comes...
That being said we need to hit them back hard:
"You wanna know how you do it? Here's how, they pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That's the Chicago way, and that's how you get Capone! Now do you want to do that? Are you ready to do that? "

then a draft dodger called him a coward and he failed to hit back. I mean REALLY hit back. They should have had a dossier and plan of attack on Bush's military service and drug use ready to go at a moment's notice.

the perception when they don't fight back is NOT that they are "taking the high road" - it's that they're simply, for whatever reason, not defending themselves. Not a good trait in a politician.

21. Realists recognize she's the likely nominee and next President... |
|
I will not support her in the primary, but like the majority here, I recognize she will probably win the nomination and I know we will all support her in the general election.
With the shit storm coming down on Republicans, its unlikely that they will win in '08, even in the Senate. (although Senator Clinton isn't going to make it a cakewalk, I predict)
If Hillary had the 3% that Kucinich(SP, sorry) had, and they were still spending all of their time on her, then the OP would really have a point.
Seeing that she's the one in the lead, however, Senator Clinton's the one to focus their attention on. Nothing to do with her sex, policies, etc., only because she's the most likely to succeed. Why focus on someone with half her poll numbers?
Besides, it's easy pickings. It's called recycling.
