For Governor Dean and his Supporters- |
|
My heart aches for those of you who invested your souls in this race. I do know what you feel and I am so very sorry for your pain.
Governor Dean you did something vital to the Party and to the Country- you woke people up to the need for change. I will always appreciate you for that even if I haven't supported you.
My Dean supporter friends, you are needed. We still have a chance for fundamental change. For real contrast to Bush, but that chance is floundering. Please help Dennis Kucinich now, before it's too late to change the direction of our policies. I fear for tomorrow with the frontrunners we have. I truly do.
ABB? Probably in deference to my candidate. Until the convention I am Kucinich and radical change. Join me, please?

3. Very welcome, Mercutio. |

I recognize honest and sincere belief and passion in Howard Dean, even if I don't feel the same for him. I know what it means to have an emotional and practical investment. I invite those who feel that way to join others with the same conviction for another candidate.
Nothing more and no disrespect to you meant.

I'm from Iowa and the Caucuses are already over.
Kucinich supporters were fun to work with (and I mean work right along side since we attended anti-war forums, campaign rallies, etc.) during the primary season - one of the things I admire about DK supporters is your loyalty.
Just like my loyalty to Howard Dean (unlike some other people who flake-off just to vote for the 'winner').
Good luck to you!

but even with your own caucus or Primary over, you can help. Please consider it when you feel up to it, and feel free to pm me if you wish to help. I'll put you in touch with phone-bankers and letter writers if you want to be involved.
Thanks for everything you've done so far. I'm proud of you and every other Dean supporter who has made themselves heard so far. You all can step up with your heads held high.:toast:

6. You go right on with what you think is right! |
|
I'm the last person who would argue with that. Good for Howard Dean and good for you, both of you for having real guts. Salut!:toast:

for anyone who needs a little moral support today. Dean supporters, I really do love most of you and hope you can handle the loss with relatively little pain. Take care and know you're welcome among Kucinich supporters. My PM is open to anyone who needs to talk.

9. My vote still goes to Howard on super Tuesday. |
|
Everyone else, who hasn't had a chance to vote for their candidate of choice, should also do so. Why should those other states decide for us whom we want as President.
Vote for your candidate of choice even if you have to write them in.

10. It's disheartening and demoralizing when the candidate you worked |
|
for, supported with time, energy and possibly money bows out. I know the real hurt Dean supporters are feeling.
I would like to encourage you all to vote Dem, even if, like me, you have to do it with many regrets (I'm a DK supporter who is realistic).
Backbiting is SOP in Democratic Primary campaigns. I think for many Dean supporters, this may be their first General Election. Stick with DU, weigh your options, and let's please defeat the evil in the White House.
If you will vote Democratic, fantastic. If you can't, just please, please VOTE. I hear your voices and I contribute money and time to Dems.
