2008 Election

We talk on DU about the upcoming Election in 2008 -- who the candidates will be, what the Polls say, who's raising how much money from whom, who will who as the Running Mate, etc and so on -- but ignore one of those lingering facts which hides under the bed like a poorly hid elephant:

There may not BE a 2008 Election!

With all * has done, with as many times these rat bastards have turned their backs on the Constitution and completely and utterly ignored the Will of the People, with the sense of supreme arrogance, condescension and hatred for Freedom they've displayed time and time again, who's to say that -- with the Polls working against them, the Will of the People screaming loud and clear that their time is done and we want them OUT and the Democrats poised to take back the White House as well as increase their Majorities in both the House and Senate (as well as the Governorships) and turn the clock back on all the NeoCons have "accomplished" --, whose to say there won't be a "terrorist attack" and, much like Rudy tried (and failed) to do after 9/11, the Election "postponed" until it's safe to have it, or some such bullshit?

We all assume there will be an Election like there always has been because that's what we're used to and that's how it works in this Country. But with all that's changed, I'm not sure anymore that * and his Merry Band of Thieves will just let go of all the power they've stolen.

Is there anything we can do to make sure the Election moves forward as it's supposed to?
