Blackwater gets love from Rep. Westmoreland (R-GA), then he slams Dems
This asswipe is the one who couldn't name the 10 Commandments on Colbert/Daily Show.

"... So Westmoreland used his allotted time with Prince to praise the company, which has Republican ties, and slap Democrats upside the head with a two-by-four.

Westmoreland told Prince that Democrats were going after Blackwater because their party “does not like companies who show a profit.” The investigation of Blackwater, he said, is a step toward Democrats’ “ultimate goal of redistribution of wealth or other successes for the takers of this world.”

The hearing, he said, was intended to “to bias lawsuits (against Blackwater) that their crony lawyer friends may be handling.”

Just to make sure he was clear, Westmoreland told Prince, “I think you do a very good job.”

I am puking.

2. Gee, Mr. Westmoreland
Another quagmire, another apologist named Westmoreland. Swell.

Perhaps the distinguished gentlemen could tell us just how Blackwater is showing a profit? I mean, if I could swing a no-bid military contract that essentially handed me lots of Treasury money for doing nothing, I'd take it, and that would be showing a profit. And, since I was doing nothing, I'd actually be doing more good in Iraq than Blackwater, which is actively and intentionally damaging U.S. interests and prestige.

Also, what job is Blackwater and Prince doing that they're doing so very well, Mr. Westmoreland? The drunken offing of inconvenient Iraqis? The panicked massacre of a dozen citizens at a time? I don't think those are jobs worth doing, well or otherwise, Mr. Westmoreland.
