3. Why not stay in until Feb 5th?
There is plenty of upside for staying in even for those without a shot of winning. Exposure, getting support for your ideas and planks in the platform, experience campaigning, and building contacts from many organizations throughout the country.

After Feb 5th, if they haven't done well, then they start to look stupid by staying in the race and their supporters/organization will have moved on after that anyway.

4. WELL... after New Hampshire
I believe the first to drop out will be the principal from welcome back, kotter!, the interesting and sometimes spot-on Gravel! Then Dodd. Then Biden. Then Kucinich. Then Richardson. But after that... I wish I knew. I hope Clinton would be next and we get either Obama, Gore or John Edwards left to take the task of being the next president we get screwed out of being in office on some shady dealings.

Sorry, when you have it happen in Florida 2000, and they get away with it, and then you have it happen again in Ohio 2004, you sorta get cynical with justification.

6. Agreed, Kucinich will not drop out - he'll be at the national convention
with some delegates.
