Is this Blackwater thing going to have legs or will it die on the vine like most other issues with this *Co administration?

Also - What is the typical profile of a person that works for Blackwater? I asked this late last night and really didn't get a good answer.

Probably this was covered before here at DU - but I missed it. Are they all former U.S. trained soldiers? Are they kooks like these quasi militia's that play weekend soldier in the backwoods? Do they have families? Are they ex-cons?

Along with that question - how many personnel from Blackwater have been killed in this occupation - since they were first brought in? We here the death toll of the U.S.Soldiers is about 3800 - how many more were killed that came from Blackwater? Is anybody keeping track of these deaths?

Why is it that now the Congress is finally getting around to question this private military - where were they when Blackwater first started to get involved? Why didn't Congress or the Media question this back then?
