Well that was interesting and kind of creepy at the same time ( * defending his veto today)
Was having a late lunch and caught a quick blip of * defending his SCHIP veto in a speech this afternoon.

He was doing the "aw-schucks-hunch-over-and-grin" thing he does, while explaining Why He Was Correct® in deep-sixing children's health. In the audience there were no smiles, no heads nodding in assent, no WooHoo my pres rocks!!There were, however, unhappy looking faces, a few zombie-like ones - hence the creepy reference, and crickets.

It was a thing of beauty.

1. Plenty of money for his best friends like Blackwater
but not an extra dime for sick American children. He really hates America doesn't he. I guess when you are born with a silver spoon in your mouth, you just don't care about sick and dying American children.

He would make a good scrooge. Are there no prisons? Are there no poor houses?

2. He's been talking so much about his legacy lately
You think he would try and do something good to salvage it. Sometimes I feel like I'm stuck in a really bad movie. :)

3. Republicans
Republicans 'only' worry about unborn children residing in the womb. Once they are born, forget about them; they are on their own.

4. It sure seems that way some times
I know the over-kill variety of Republican...the ones who spoon feed their kids well into adulthood. It often seems like its one extreme or the other with them.
