I Agree With Dean That First We Must Stop Bush, "Whatever it Takes"!
Congrats to Dr. Dean for having performed a BACKBONE TRANSPLANT on the Democratic Party and John Kerry in particular!

The announcement today was very smart. Dean will get planks in the platform on the war and healthcare and on campaign reform and use the list and the Internet to organize communities around the country for more progressive change on every level.

But first, he said:

"We must do whatever it takes to get rid of George W. Bush."

That means voting for the Dem nominee in the General Election, be it Edwards or Kerry.

Let's send as many Progessive Delegates as possible to Boston but then we must vote for the Dem in the General and stop Bush from using voting machines and the Patriot Act from destroying our democracy.

Once we've secured that, then we move on to years of work and change and WE CAN DO IT!

I agree with Dean.

1. And I agree with you
but I also thought the person who was switching to Kucinich had a valid point too.

2. I agree with Dean too, but I think we really need to tread carefully here.
I don't think people are ready to process what has happened and what they will do next.

I think we all need to take time to chill KWIM?

4. He says it, I believe it.

I'm keeping my buttons and my bumper stickers. Howard is so much more than just a former candidate, and I'll never forget him.

5. Nobody But Dean supporters may be drafted by a re-elected Bush
Bush will start drafting the youth who supported Dean and now may not vote for Kerry!

They will learn the true meaning of the word IRONY if Bush wins by their leaving their current activism to defeat him!

REDEFEAT BUSH!

6. Hey... why don't you guys "borrow" our sig line?
My poster-pal, Bucky wrote me the night Clark withdrew to encourage me when I was feeling very much like you are right now. He closed by saying that we would go on to support the eventual nominee, and that, "In my heart, I'll always be a Wes Clark Democrat."

I think you guys need a sig line! Howard Dean Democrats!
