What's your point, here, exactly?

Hillary's platform probably does reflect the thinking of the party establishment. And the conservatism and Scoop Jackson-style mindless rigidity of that establishment is what cause the Great Schism of 1968, a split from which the party has never fully recovered. It reflects a mindset that "winning" in the short-term in the international sphere is more important than social justice at home or long term peace and justice globally.

Both platforms are all a mixture of limitations, arrogance, and fear, the mental cocktail(shaken but not stirring) that gave us Vietnam.
