I'm beginning to think it's possible. At least as possible as taking back the majority in '06.

With Domenici retiring this is how it could happen:

In VA- Mark Warner

In CO- Mark Udall

In NH- Jean Shaheen

In NM- Udall or Richardson

In MN- Franken

In ME- Allen

That gets the dems to 57

OR, NE (if Kerrey runs) KY, NC and AK are possibilities.

2. I'm Already On Record Predicting The Filibuster-Proof Majority
And it's only gotten better looking since then! Also keep in mind what the "pundits" and "experts" were predicting in '06. I don't believe a single mainstream pundit predicted both houses would switch. I did. And only a handful predicted that one would switch. Most thought that the Dems would pick up seats but that no chamber would switch.

6. The race in NE will be very interesting if Kerrey gets in.
That one will get serious national attention, similar to the last Ben Nelson race.
