Guiliani or Clinton.

Either way, the corporations win.

22. They would have no chance at 270 minus Florida
In fact, lucky to bust 200 or 220. Losing Florida means other smaller swing states are all falling our way.

Florida is interesting. I've seen many analysts say Hillary would do great there. The white female voting block does tilt noticeably from race to race. When Bush defeated Kerry by about 5 points in Florida in '04, Mel Martinez barely won the senate race against Betty Castor. When I checked the internals, the difference was how white women voted. The preferred Bush by high margin but were split in the senate race.

So if Hillary were able to have the same pull, but now it's in a pro-Democratic year and not an incumbent race favoring a Republican, I could definitely see her carrying Florida.

2008 has more variables than the two recent residential cycles, which were standard Democrat vs. standard Republican and 50/50 climates. It's more difficult to handicap and I may be underestimating Hillary's potential strength among women, and what it means to the outcome.

8. Those numbers only mean something if Giuliani and Clinton are both
the nominees. Not a done deal yet.

I see the smallest lead for Crist among the polls, but certainly not saying that Davis was going to beat Crist.

Is Hillary going to take Illinois from Obama and Edwards looks very good in Iowa.
I believe that will hold through the general election.
No way a republican will win if we stick them with the truth of the reality that now faces us.
