40. I've said it many times. I will support whoever is the nominee.
But I'm sure we will campaign for Obama. He will make you proud.

47. I agree
I'll vote for whoever our nominee is although I prefer some candidates over others.

I think you'll find it's the more leftist Democrats you have to worry about in terms of not voting if their preferred candidate doesn't win.

4. this question gets asked in one form or another pretty often.
Why isn't it asked of Obama supporters with the same frequency?

9. I've seen this question addressed to Obama and Edwards supporters
several times a week/ At least it seems that way to me. I just thought turnabout was fair play. At least I said "if", not "when".

10. Because as Hillary supporters its ok to go after us every single day.
But fuck them, its been 9 months of near non-stop bashing and not only is the core group still here, we've gotten larger.

38. Damn right.
I will say this .... I was talking to my mom on my way home from a class I took in Orange Co. and she and my step dad are planning on coming down to LA the day of the election. They want to be here to celebrate with DEMOCRATS (there's a fewer of us in Bakersfield) when we win the election.

But we both agreed that it will be a bit of a dissapointment if Hillary isn't the nominee. BUT we will all kick up our heels and celebrate when we end 8 years of GOP rule.

POWER TO THE DEMOCRATS!!

21. Well sadly, the answer is different
There have been a considerable number of posters who have said they will not vote for, let alone support in other ways, a HRC general election campaign. Not enough on the greater scale to make much difference of course, but enough to make significant noise in the unrepresentative DU echo chamber.

Even more sadly, this contingent almost to a one assume the mantle of being the only "real" Democrats.

15. Hillary supporters
(to the best of my knowledge) have given no indication they'd do anything BUT support the nominee--even if it wasn't Hillary.

Where the doubt on this matter comes in (IMO) is will everyone else's supporters get behind Hillary if she wins the nom?

I'm not in any camp, I would prefer Hillary isn't our candidate, but I will be voting for whoever our nominee is. No ifs, ands or buts. I hope all my fellow DUers will consider doing same.

Julie

I believe this country has seen enough and republicans aren't going to pull us out of despair.

Maybe I wouldn't agree with a lot of the nominees actions. BUT DAMN IT. THEY WILL BE 1000% TIMES BETTER THAN WHAT WE HAVE.

18. Yes absolutely (not really a Clinton supporter)
I like Hillary - she's 3 on my list - and I certainly don't have the same doom and gloom about her as a vocal DU contingent does. I also fully expect her to be the nominee - not because of inevitability or media conspiracy or because I'm not paying attention but because she is running the best campaign and is in the best position to win it.

But if I'm wrong? No biggie at all - any of the candidates with even a vaguely realistic shot would get my full unreserved support, donations and whatever efforts I can spare. A couple of them withOUT a realistic shot may only get my vote, but none of the current or likely candidates will lose that.

Perhaps is because Bush has done such brutal damage in all areas and is such a shitass, that he makes all the Democrats appear as though they can walk on water or something.

And I won't have to hold my nose! Hillary is not my first choice, but I won't be unhappy if she wins it. I'd like Edwards to win, but if he doesn't, I'll work my butt off for the nominee. I think we have an unusually strong field this cycle.
