Lead singer of Goo Goo Dolls headlines Clinton fundraiser

BOSTON (Map, News) - Hillary Clinton is getting a little rock and roll boost at an upcoming fundraising in Boston.

Goo Goo Dolls Singer John Rzeznik is headlining an Oct. 10 fundraiser for Clinton at Symphony Hall in Boston.

One of the fundraiser's selling points is its relatively low price. Tickets start at $20. Top tickets are $2,300.

Actress Mary Steenburgen and campaign Chairman Terry McAuliffe will host the event, which will feature other entertainment, including an a cappella group from Clinton's alma mater Wellesley College.

3. Yep, I remember that.
I was there - Halloween night. IIRC, there were like 10 or 15 thousand people there.

7. I met
Sen. Nelson behind the stage on the road. I liked him a lot then. Not so much now. I wish our Dem leaders in FL weren't so conservative. And how SAD we were given MEL SORRY AZZ MARTINEZ instead of Betty Castor in the Senate. We really were bamboozled by fraud in 04 (and 00). Something has to be done. I didn't believe there was that much fraud to speak of in major elections until all the computer tallying and touch screens came along.

Kerry was great that night ,btw, and waved to me and my friend who were alone on the street after he left. He is the real deal. He just couldn't believe the level of organized theft to derail him from becoming president, he's old school. I think he's learned the hard way now. Sad.
