12. I like Biden, he shouldn't have been at the bottom of the list. But can't say the same for Hillary. |

13. What does it matter that someone is at the bottom of the list? |
|
I put it in reverse alphabetical order. I figured I'd be able to fend off accusations of ordering it according to my preference, and accusations that putting it in regular alphabetical order is also unfair to a particular candidate (which would be yours in this case) because they "always" end up there due to so many people using regular alphabetical order. There is no way I could order there such that there wouldn't be a candidate at the bottom.

6. Even though he voted against SCHIP? |
|
Seriously, I don't understand the support for Kucinich on this forum. He stands with Bush when it comes to something that will actually help people and has a chance of actually becoming law, yet people support him anyway.

7. Well I don't quite understand that |
|
I would like to hear his reasons, but I won't stop supporting him for that one vote. He is in favor for universal-not-for-profit health care, so maybe he feels that EVERYONE should get insurance.
Who is your candidate?

8. I don't have a candidate. |
|
Kerry isn't running, nor is Gore, nor is Clark.
I waver between a few of the candidates but am not ready to pick one over the others yet.
I am sure it's not Kucinich though, but if he votes to override the SCHIP veto, I might reconsider. I want a president who will get things done, even if they aren't perfect things - things that do help as many people as he or she can. DK digging in his heels on one provision of SCHIP - throwing out all of it because it didn't cover one group of people - shows that he isn't my kind of leader. But again, if he votes correctly on the override, than I could overlook that. I would still disagree with the first vote, but I could possibly live with it.

9. Well all of the candidates |
|
have voted or said things that you probably aren't going to agree with. Let me ask you a question, in the interest of debate. If DK were to win the nomination, and win the GE, and 6 months after he takes office the following things are in place.
1)The troops out of Iraq 2)End the war (I am sure bushco will start) in Iran 3)Universal not for profit health care for ALL
Would you forgive his vote on SCHIP? Believe me I am upset with this bill. My 11 year old doesn't have any insurance, so it directly affected me. I will stick by DK because even though he voted against this, he is promising universal health care, which would take care of all of those left behind in the SCHIP veto.

But I will support Hillary because she probably has the best chance of winning. I'm a believer in pragmatism.

16. Richardson, because the presidency is not an entry level job. |
|
My main reason for supporting a primary candidate is that I feel that he or she could actually do the job and make this country just a little bit better.
Most of the other candidates have nothing in their resumes that indicate that they have the skills to run a large and complex organization like the U.S. government.
I Gore gets in of course all bets are off but right now I'm with Bill.
