John Edwards Gets 800% Crowd Turnout in Rural Kentucky |
|
VIDEO HERE: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=385x59934As kossack decider06 said last night on Air America: Columbus, Kentucky is so rural, it is an hour away from the nearest McDonald's.
In a town of 229, John Edwards drew a crowd of 1800 people. Now, remember this is one of the most rural areas of the country. That is a 800% turnout. While other candidates have boasted their turnouts in cities like Atlanta and New York, you cannot deny the fact that John Edwards is a Democrat that is appealing to rural voters in a way no other Democratic presidential candidate has in a very long time. 3. Apparently they don't want their jobs outsourced |
|
And HRC's ties to Tata Consultancy in India is the equivalent of saying 'ta-ta' to their jobs.

I am tired of being dictated to. The Move on condemnation was the last straw.

10. You city slickers make me sick. 1800 is the people in the surrounding area. |
|
EVERY single rural small town i have lived in has most of its population in the surrounding countryside.
WHY? Because that is WHAT RURAL MEANS!
Farms don't exist in the city limits in small towns anymore than in large cities. And guess what? People live there!!
The 800% statistic and people kicking it just shows how much money we need to spend on geography and math education.

People don't think that they suddenly birthed 1600 people when they heard John Edwards was coming.
BTW, I live in rural Arkansas, so please don't call me a city slicker.
