I read this off a link from Raw Story. http://www.wcsh6.com/news/article.aspx?storyid=71741Nat'l Guard Iraq orders are one day shy of number of days needed for education funds under GI Bill. They are such super a$$holes.

There isn't enough money in the world for defense contractors, but they'll find numerous ways to cut corners when it comes to our troops.

5. Blackwater mercenaries make in one month what a GI makes in a year, but screw the troops. |

begs for congress to intervene with an easy fix this is it. I served 24 years and I know reservists and guardsmen get crapped on at every opportunity. Your conservative friends would call this taking care of the troops.

4. Believe it--the military does this all the time, and openly. |

My personal favorite--in the Air Force, they'll send you on deployments just a little bit short of being considered a full "remote" tour, so you don't get credit for a "remote" (usually a year long, without your family, to places like Korea)--that way they can send you places over and over again, without having to give you credit (and any special pay/perks) for fulfilling the usual "remote" tour requirement.

than the 730 days needed to have the benefits. What happened is the government re-wrote their orders to make them shy 1 day. If seems to me it was deliberate. They have over 1000 days.

Honestly, I'm not surprised. This admiminstration is beyond an absolute disgrace. This is my generation's Nixon. I'll never forget how Bush and Co disgraced our nation for the rest of my life.
