Clinton leads in Colorado
Some 29 percent of Democrats said they supported Clinton, compared to 23 percent each for Edwards and Obama, the poll said.

Ciruli said 70 percent of Democrats polled said they were satisfied with their field of candidates, compared to 60 percent of Republicans.

"This no doubt partially reflects Democrats' views that 2008 will be a good year for them. Their candidates may also be doing a better job appealing to their core constituents than the Republicans at this point in the campaign," Ciruli said.

10. Yeah, but it's a very small lead, like Obama's lead in Iowa.
Dead heat, Liz.

11. Did I say she had a large lead? Nope, just that she was in the lead.

And Obama's lead in Iowa? Ohhh, you mean from that one poll. Could be an outlier, Katz, just like the national poll that had Hillary 33% ahead.

Yes, it's very close in Colorado, but Hillary still holds the lead. According to most Iowa polls, she also holds a small lead. Here's a graph for ya: http://www.pollster.com/08-IA-Dem-Pres-Primary.php

7. It's a toss-up in my Colorado house, for sure!

My DH is for Hill
My son is all for Barack
And I want Gore, but am leaning towards Edwards.
The daughter will be voting for her first time next year, but she is undecided.

I see the same story at work - not much consensus on candidates yet - so I'd call it a 3-way tie out here in the West (all anecdotal).

8. 100% of the Coloradans I polled support Edwards
(That would be me, my wife, and my son. Okay, so it's a small sample.)

16. Yes, it's their last poll on recd for Colorado..
If their timing runs true, there should be another poll out in a couple of weeks.

15. God, I hope so
We keep getting our hopes up based on early polls, but then we get disappointed.

In presidential elections, that is. At the state level, Colorado is blue and getting bluer.
