Don't Piss On My Shoes And Tell Me It's Raining
Rudy Giuliani professes to be pro-choice and pro gay rights...Heck, he lived with his two gay friends when his wife threw him out of the Mayor's Mansion when she found out he was playing "hide the banana" with another woman ... But he also says he would appoint strict constructionists in the mold of Antonin Scalia and Samuel (Sc)alito to the Supreme Court... Strict constructionists are not friendly to choice or gay rights... Professing to be pro choice and pro gay rights and appointing justices hostile to these causes is akin to a presidential candidate in 1952 saying he favors integration but would appoint justices that would uphold Plessey V Ferguson...

1. What's that Sesame Street song...?
http://www.clickonlyrics.com/getlid/39164

One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?

Which President Rudy would we get :scared: the one who professes to be welcoming to women's reproductive health care rights and to gay/lesbian rights? Or the 'strict constructionist'? I think he's attempting to be everything to everyone just to get there....:eyes:

3. K&R! Amen to that! Appointing right wing justices to the Courts is the most anti-choice and
anti-gay-rights thing anybody could possibly do. This is how he will try to fool independents and some Democrats into voting for him. When it comes down to it, I think the Supreme Court might be the most important issue in the 2008 Presidential election. A Democrat MUST win. Not supporting the Democratic candidate in 2008 is pretty much the most anti-choice,anti-gay and anti-civil-rights thing a voter could do. I know it sounds harsh, but that's the reality we live in.

5. Let him keep talking...
he's already put his own head in the noose, a few more comments like this, and he'll kick the chair right out from under himself.

Most people with more than 4 firing syanpses know he's full of crap. little more than a glory hound...always seeking glory off the hard work of others.

7. The first time I heard that "saying" was from James Carville.
Is it any wonder that each time it's repeated it "never fails" to leave a bad taste in my mouth? :yoiks:
