My opposition to Hillary is grounded in reality. |
|
Too bad there's so much opposition to her rooted in paranoid delusion.
My opposition to Hillary is rooted in her caution and her "tough" stance on the military and certain aspects of her foreign policy. It's rooted in her support for outsourcing and her politics of triangulation. It's rooted in her vote for the IWR and her recent vote on Iran.
The claims that she'd be no different than a repuke, or that she couldn't even be trusted to appoint Justices who would uphold abortion rights, and that she's wholly owned by large corporations, aren't rooted in reality, and can't be supported with evidence.

1. i wholeheartedly agree. she is very similar to bill politically. |
|
but with more toughness and less charm.
bill was a decent president who blew out on a few big issues, welfare reform, nafta, media reform. although he didnt seem to feel the need to act tough, but he did play the politics of triangulation the same way.
id like a real liberal democrat, well really id like a socialist democrat.

5. I believe that's called "campaigning" |
|
Almost all politicians do it. What works in the northeast doesn't work in the south, for example, so the "message" is adapted to the audience.
Hillary's just better (or worse, depending on your perspective) at it than most.

7. No. It's a form of campaigning- or governing. |
|
It also involves co-opting the oppositions positions.

9. But that could be an amelioration when we all benefit from the outcome |
|
An excellent example of this would be when Bill Clinton gave tax cuts to the middle class, no?

13. The greatest test for political triangulation is of course the test of time. |
|
Sometimes our ideological philosophy needs to be won in stages, requiring certain aspects of social issues, or economic issues, to be on held on the back burner for the moment. The very best example of this is "civil rights".
One of my great grandmothers could not get accepted to medical school simply because she was a women, all the while many of her peers were marching in the streets over voting issues.

8. Look, I answered your first question |
|
and I fail to see the point of your second. What's your problem, specifically, with what I wrote in my OP?

11. If you're referring to outsourcing, that could be considered somewhat vague. |
|
Additionally, I feel that some are mistaken on this issue, if Hillary's work with a service bureau in the Buffalo area is the precept on which it is based.

why isn't anyone amazed? i mean the re-considerations of the entire Clinton era, not to mention the cain/abel drama back in olden days! the rest of the msm haven't commented yet...they still claim cain killed the guy, but they also gave florida to Gore in 2k, so USA could relax and go to bed....maybe it's true? who knows
