1. This is for real?
He wouldn't hold this administration accountable for their crimes because that would be looking "backwards"?

2. No, not exactly:
During his speech, he also declared the surge has failed in Iraq and he would close the Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba where enemy combatants are being held.

But, Obama said, he would not use the Department of Justice to investigate the administration if elected. "I don't want to waste time as president spending all our time looking backwards. I want to look forward," Obama said, adding the caveat that if evidence of criminal activity arose, he would expect it to be pursued by the Justice Department.

3. How does he think it's supposed to show up, if no one is investigating?

4. IF???
Evidence??? That is a very disturbing comment. How can we go forward and "change the world" if we haven't resolved the past. Letting criminals walk away without any accountability is hardly a way to move forward. What kind of precedent are we setting for future leaders? Even good, decent leaders can be corrupted by too much power and if they know they won't be held accountable for their decisions.......

7. This is the total opposite of what Biden said.
Biden said that he wants to see if this administration should be booked on criminal charges.
He wants to close the book on Imperial Presidents, literally.

8. Yeah, I remember that
and it is burned into my brain. This isn't about partisan grudges, it is about rampant criminal activity and if it is left to dwindle away, we will be the biggest fools on the planet.
