We have Subpoena Power! Ok, it's trumped by Ignore Subpoena Power! (oh well, never mind . . .) |
|
Memo to Dems - but we'd really appreciate it if you would just pretend to care.
You know, it means so much to the little people- Rule of Law and all.

2. What ever happened to holding up the AG confirmation |
|
until the subpoenas are answered?
(Rhetorical question. Either these people are being *seriously* threatened in some way, or somebody needs to give them hardball lessons. They've got me almost thinking I could be a politician.....)

3. The interim AG seems more right-wing than the nominee, |
|
...and so Bush doesn't have reason to care if the nominee isn't confirmed.

Well, then, it would be best if the Dems had not mentioned it until they saw the nominee. Oh well.
Myself, I'm less interested in left or right wing for that particular position than the nominee's realizing what it is the AG is supposed to *do*, and being honest.
