ABK until Kerry has 2,161 Delegates, then ABB in November.... |
|
How many people feel the same?
If the first part succeeds (ABK) in getting Edwards the nomination, the second part (ABB) is more likely to succeed as well.
I think if we lose the first, we lose the second.

1. Edwards as the nominee |
|
is four more years of George Bush (no thanks).

3. I'm almost with you. Still considering my options. |
|
ABK until the primary is decided sounds good. ABB is less attractive.

4. I would rather have someone other than Kerry |

be the nominee but I won't say "ABK". Remember shrub is the enemy here and whether or not people think that Kerry can beat shrub or not, we must not have fights between our party members. More fuel for Range Rover, shrub and crew.

Our party does not need to fight the 'Massachussetts liberal' and 'Taxachussetts' themes in November.

6. I don't understand ABB in November part. |
|
The ABB is really only operative in terms of the primaries....unless you are encouraging 3rd party options in the GE. I'd hope that wouldn't be the case.

7. I think you've got it backwards |
|
the Dem primaries are for choosing the Dem nominee ABB is a call to vote for the Dem nominee in NOV (even if s/he isn't the one you wanted)

ABB in November could mean voting Indie, Green, or Democrat. It only truly makes sense when applied to the Democratic primaries....an informal agreement that irregardless who we support thru the primaries, we will be ABB after the convention.

|
I'll vote Dem in November regardless, but now that Dean is out, I'm an Edwards guy.

But for now, I'm for Edwards because only Edwards stands a chance of taking down Kerry, and I believe it is imperative Kerry is not the nominee.
