4. The week of 9/11 I immediately recalled this movie

and we went out and rented it to watch a second time. Startlingly prophetic - gave me the chills at the time. I watched it again a few months ago and it had a similar effect.

What "sold" me was that the script was by the author of "The Looming Tower", a book I had just finished reading (actually, listened to in Audible.com format). Here's a quote from the movie review: "It's interesting to note that the script for The Siege was written by Lawrence Wright, who later, in 2006, wrote a book, The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11, and won the Pulitzer Prize for it. This book is also highly recommended."

6. Another interesting flick was "Enemy of the State."

There was nothing remarkable about that film really. Except for one thing: the date of birth of the evil CIA guy was: 9/11. That movie came out on '98.

It thought it was an interesting coincidence that the crooked CIA honcho doing all the shadowy shit was born in that date...

9. I've seen that movie several times and missed that somehow. Wow.

It's a pretty well done movie and Gene Hackman is superb, as always.
