A simple solution to the government's illegal destruction of the Bill Of Rights.
Edited on Tue Oct-09-07 01:58 AM by Kablooie
Let's push to have Congress remove the Bill Of Rights from the Constitution.
Then the government won't be doing anything wrong.

(I mean it was just tacked on as an afterthought anyway so why not?)

Simple.

1. Duh the Bill of rights are Amendments to the US Constitution. They are not part of it.

2. If they can amend prohibition out of existence why not our freedoms too?
Then everyone can stop complaining.

(sarcasm, if you didn't notice.)

6. Amendments
Once an amendment to the Constitution is ratified, it becomes part of the Constitution. To remove them would require an amendment to the Constitution. Just like XVIII Amendment was removed (canceled) by the XXI Amendment.
