I just called Waxman’s office to tell him to stay out of private citizens business. The girl told me that Waxman was not investigating Rush, or any other talk radio people and wanted to know where I got the info that he was. I told her it was all over the TV and radio. She wanted to know specifics and said she had had many calls about this.

3. I love how Rush, et al are not allowed to be looked at
but how righties consistantly go after anyone who they disagree with for less, such as this google story:

http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-google9oct09,0,2321354.story?coll=la-home-center

...
Google Inc. occasionally features light-hearted doodles on its colorful home-page logo to commemorate special occasions. But now they are drawing criticism from conservatives for not being more patriotic.

The Mountain View, Calif., company bathes its logo in stars and stripes every Independence Day, but last week's decision to honor the 50th anniversary of the Sputnik launch -- the second "g" in Google was replaced with a drawing of the Soviet satellite -- is being blasted by some conservatives.
...
"It's a kick to your belly," said conservative blogger Giovanni Gallucci, 39, a social media consultant from Dallas. "I understand these guys are scientists and engineers and they have their quirks and want to make sure people are recognized who might not normally be recognized . . . but why not celebrate the struggles that we've come through as a people?"
...
Conservatives have found plenty of reasons to complain about Google, which they see as a liberal enclave because of the corporate causes it champions and the political candidates its employees support.

9. Isn't GOOGLE used in other countries? And the "kick to your belly"
quote by Gallucci 39 sounds like he is a 2 year old.

4. Looks like it's coming from.. wait for it.. Rush himself!
http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_100807/content/01125111.guest.html

RUSH: ...and then Waxman's investigation of me would have a little bit more ammo he could look at. "Am I mingling politics with my radio program? Am I using my radio program to advance my candidacy?" (laughing) Well, if you didn't hear that, Henry Waxman has assigned his investigative team in the House to monitor me, and Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin for "irregularities," and to report back to him, ladies and gentlemen.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: So Henry Waxman will now use government money to do what Media Matters is doing, and the power of government to threaten radio talk show hosts like me and Sean Hannity and Mark Levin. Bring it on, Congressman! Just bring it on. You're going to make me start my own campaign if you're going to treat me like I'm running for office. See, the point is, I am the Mr. Big, because I am the one who gets to voters. I am the one who gets to voters in their hearts and minds and changes them, persuades them -- with the truth. They can't handle the light of truth, folks. That's why this program is a threat.
