Was anyone aware that crazy Alan Keyes is running for president???

I saw his picture in the bunch on MSNBC earlier today and so I looked for and found an article saying he IS running for president. Why is he getting no coverage at ALL? It would be FUN to see him in the debates! :D

1. I thought they trotted him out already

when the NAACP(IIRC) invited them to speak. None of the front runners showed up but they sure did trot him out for that event.

or the fact that he lost to Obama in IL. :D I mean, even the lowest polling candidates are at least known to be running. Why has he never been mentioned on tv?

Sort of an "All the News We Barely Tell You About" sort of strategy.

I really wanted to hear more about Salazar and Snowes report to congress after their Iraq trip. They got a teeny interiew blip on CNN saying that the surge has some positive effect but that they were assured, on the ground in Iraq, that there was no military solution. And they would be reporting to committee in a few days. Poof. Not another peep as far as I can tell. Typical.

But then again, I dont even see the blips on other newscasts.

21. At least Keyes is somewhat entertaining.

It's like watching a really good town-to-town snake oil salesman back in the Ancient Days while not buying a word he's saying (or the snake oil). Keyes is definitely smart, albeit in a cockeyed way, and he is quite articulate. His ideas are essentially a form of self-parody. Since he has less than no chance, I say let him talk!
