Mark Penn chuckles as Hillary's poll numbers go up as Republicans and Democrats attack her
The same phenomoenon happened with Bill during impeachment. It's supernatural I say. ;)

http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/seattlepolitics/archives/123422.asp

"She is a warrior Democrat, ready to be a champion of middle class voters," said Penn. "Many people have an outdated image of Sen. Clinton. She is ready to be president. She has tremendous experience and knowledge."

And, he noted with a chuckle, "In the last two to three weeks, since the Republicans have been attacking her -- and the Democrats have started to do so -- she has continued to go up."

5. Are you kidding me? Mark Penn should not even be allowed in civilized society.
He certainly should not be welcome in Democratic circles. How can anyone defend the actions of such a person? I guess some see morality and gain as well as politics as separate. I do not. Quotes from Mark Penn are no more acceptable than links to Freerepublic. Actually they are worse.

11. Hard to understand I know - but Penn is a pollster who was hired as CEO of "union busting" BM 2 yrs
ago and has been on leave to Hillary for the last year.

16. He is guilty of a lot more than just union busting. Read some of the stuff from his own website
and what difference does being"on leave"make? Is he "forgiven" for taking a sabbatical from his activites? Shheesh. Hard to understand I know but that doesn't "remake" the person.

17. He has never worked on a PR campaign against unions - he has one year in the CEO job of
a PR firm that has an area in the company with an expertise in defending corporations in the press against union charges.

A "remake" from DLC thinking might be wished for (yes -he does have DLC thoughts that I do not like)- but a remake to being a nice ethical guy is not necessary since he is already a nice ethical guy.

Obama has registered well with upper middle class Democrats -- the Hart-Tsongas-Bill Bradley constituency in caucuses past -- while Clinton is preferred in polls by working and middle class Democrats...........

6. The problem is, that by the time the election rolls
around, there will probably be more poor people than middle class in this country. Who will she champion then?

8. It's a bit early to chuckle
You chuckle after you win, not before the first vote has been cast.
