Poll question: Who here is a "Hillary Hater"? |
|
She's my last choice as far as candidates, but that doesn't mean I hate her.
Who here hates her?
If you're someone who uses that term, could you please let me know how often you run across members here who you really believe hate Hillary? I'm really curious... the similarity to accusing people who don't like Bush's BS of being "haters"... well, it downright makes my skin crawl.

1. Wow... five haters already. Please post so we know who you are! |
|
Else we might get the idea that some of the more... ahem... aggressive Hillary supporters were... um... voting another way than they might otherwise.

5. I didn't vote in the poll, I promise |
|
and I am not an aggressive or lukewarm or tepid Hillary supporter. Are you challenging the voting because it is not proving your point? That's funny.

Not defensive at all my Friend. I look forward to the day we can put this nonsense behind us, but I can't hang out in "Sports" all day.

Glad you're not taking this as an attack on you... I'm just really curious how many can seriously be described that way... cause the term really does get on my tits.

is ripe for an occasional flame war. My teams dick is bigger then your teams dick. What it provides in quality it sorely lacks in quantity. The "it" I refer to is the Sports forum.
I do agree. If I "hated" a candidate and someone put forth a poll relative to that candidate I would identify myself. Why not? There is not one candidate seeking the dem nomination that I dislike.

It would be fun to average them out. Not.

21. LOL! Not your fault...but yeah, there's one of these Hillary polls every day |
|
at least it seems like it. Sometimes maybe even more than one a day. Every conceivable way of asking "Why do you hate Hillary?" "Do you hate Hillary?" "Does Hillary hate you?" "Hillary Haters and the Democrats that Love Them." "Hillary is from Mars, Democrats are from Venus."

See? If we can keep a sense of humor about things, it will be better for all involved, I'm sure.
I'm willing to bet the vast majority of dems will see the wisdom in voting for her to avoid allowing the repukes to trash this country & the planet even further... even if they disagree with her policy ideas... so I'm not too worried really.

I notice the self-identified "haters" haven't deigned to identify themselves. Funny, that. I wonder if they did in the other polls about the "haters"... I'll have to have a look-see.

Maybe they're unaware of how hateful they're being. Let's hope that's the case, and that they learn.
Cause really... :banghead:

I can't bear to be here every day. This place is frickin toxic.
Maybe they're not so much cowardly as they don't realize how hateful they're being. Shitty, but whaddaya gonna do?
I know I may have said some ugly things, when upset. Maybe they're just upset. I'd hate to think they're disruptors... but who knows?

|
I haven't even selected who I support yet but this place has become so nasty its hard to believe that we are mostly supposed to be on the same side? I may take a break and come back after primary season. People get so nasty and hateful and decide that its a zero sum game. I hate that because it means the people against Clinton feel they must post the nastiest comments they can come up with. I don't enjoy zero sum games, and I don't get it either. Unless you are a PAID employee of a rival campaign then your job is NOT on the line and there is no reason to be so damned nasty.

but the primaries didn't start four/five months early last time.
Hope you can take some time away from the more brutal forums (this & GD, aduh) so that the primary wars don't spoil this place for you entirely.

even though I am not just to twist some knickers.:) I have not even begun to make up my mind yet but all these Hillary threads are getting on my nerves when there are more important things (at least to me) to focus on right now, ie FISA. I am in a pissy mood today and probably should avoid posting altogether.

25. Actually, I don' t think there are too many things THAT much more important |
|
First of all, I did NOT vote as a Hillary Hater. I'll vote for her in the general if she's still in it. I just don't think she should be in the general.
I think it IS extremely important to discuss whether or not the candidate being forced down our throats by the media is actually the best choice to lead us out of these dark times. I don't believe she is. She's the news networks wet dream, because if she IS elected, the Republicans will start a dozen inquiries immediately, Whitewater and Vince Foster and Travelgate and nineties grunge will come back into the limelight, and her entire tenure in Washington will be based upon Republicans re-hashing her husband's foibles and trying to bring her down...but it will be BOFFO ratings-wise! If you don't believe the Cabal News Networks have a vested interest in seeing her anointed, you haven't been paying attention for the last 15 years. Hillary is like a bad Movie Of The Week about a teenaged stripper hooker during sweeps week. They're creaming themselves at the prospect of "The First Woman President," and I'd bet you real money that SOMEONE at each of the networks has the Biopic already in the works.
Hillary is simply the wrong choice at the wrong time for all the wrong reasons. I don't hate her. I hate her being forced on us to further corporate greed.
