Ron Paul gets it: "We have been propping up the Saudis for more than 50 years" |
|
Wow. He is not a republican. He is using them as a vehicle and they know it but they can't do anything about it. http://www.eclipptv.com/viewVideo.php?video_id=94&title=Ron_Paul_on_Tucker_Carlson_Show_6_14_07

11. He is a Libertarian (he was their presidential candidate in 1988) |
|
Extremely right-wing regarding economics, but also anti-war.

7. What we like about RP is how he's sticking it to the Repukes |
|

Not that we like all that he stands for. It really isn't disputed that he's right about the war. What we "love" is how he tells that truth during the Republican debates. And that's it, nothing more. People also like Sen. Hagel's views against the occupation. Besides that he's way too far right.
'nuff said.

3. I thought he'd come out and say we overthre the iran government |
|
And that's why they snatched our people during the Carter admin.
He talks so fast, I thought he'd be able to blurt out the whole CIA/Ike deal.

5. Ron Paul basically wants to privatize EVERYTHING..... |
|
Edited on Thu Oct-11-07 05:29 PM by pepperbear
and with virtually no REGULATION; He wants to farm out the upkeep and maintenance of roads, schools, what little there is of our health care system, and every other aspect of public infrastructure to private enterprise.
Oh, and you'll still be paying taxes too. His ideas could work if he took human nature and the nature of capitalism into account, but he doesn't.
He's a true libertarian. I am so not fooled by his stance on social issues, or his isolationist leanings.
We don't want him in the white house.

you are bound to run into somebody who is both a republican and honest or right sometime. Even if so by accident. And even if that person is right or honest only once.

Sure, he may speak some truth, but he's a repuke nutbag. How would you like to get bills to pay services he wants to privatize?
And any doctor who refuses to take Medicare patients is just scum. period. :grr:
