Poll question: Will you commit to the Hillary Pledge?
Edited on Thu Oct-11-07 08:00 PM by calteacherguy
On Olbermann tonight, she said:

"We have a great field of candidates; you don't have to be against anyone, you just have to decide who you are for."

And so, I hereby proclaim the Hillary Pledge:

"I affirm we have a great field of candidates. I am against none, even as I am for one."

Will you commit to this pledge?

1. The early voting is discouraging...
Whatever happened to the politics of hope?

4. I created a pledge from something she said.
And dubbed it the "Hillary pledge"

3. That's no "Hillary Pledge"; it's common sense.

6. nice try Cal.
Some here think that Hillary is controlling America and they have to fight her tooth and nail. Correction: approximately half of DU thinks that way.

7. Almost Impossible Given The "We Suck Slightly Less" Strategy Of Most "Democrats"
We may have to hold our nose and vote for the least disturbing.

Or for a third party.

10. Basically
You want to tell America how to vote if I have understood your thinking.

We can't change all the misinformation in one election cycle. Our candidates are doing the best they can to win.

9. What about the other pledge ...
You know ... the one to support the constitution.
That's all we need in the way of pledges.

but I will promise that I will never criticize any candidate without have good sources to back up my criticism, and I won't throw nasty personal insults at other DUers (unless they deserve it ROFL)

16. It's a damn good thing DU gets a regular influx of new people...
...at least a few of us who have been around for a couple of election cycles don't do the "loyalty pledges" any more.
