Source: Gore thinks Clinton unstoppable

WASHINGTON (CNN) — A source involved in Gore's past political runs told CNN that he definitely has the ambition to use the peace prize as a springboard to run for president.

But he will not run, because he won't take on the political machine assembled by Sen. Hillary Clinton, said the source. If the senator from New York had faltered at all, Gore would take a serious look at entering the race, the source said. But Gore has calculated that Clinton is unstoppable, according to the source.

Gore repeatedly denied he has any plans to run again, but this week a group of grass-roots Democrats calling themselves "Draft Gore" took out a full-page ad in The New York Times in a bid to change his mind.

11. Gore is no longer DLC. Gore "resigned" from the DLC years ago.

12. Actually Gore broke with the DLC shortly after the 2000 race
He said in 2002 that he had "evolved beyond them".

15. Gore was a FOUNDER of the DLC . . . also encouraged Clinton overturn 60 years of Welfare guarantees!
Gore also had problems, it seemed, in 2000 making any strong populist connections --
His life-long relationship with the oil industry is also spooky --

Even with his late move on Global Warming --
He is still not challenging the oil industry -- burning of fossil fuels is responsibile for GW

He is talking about responding to GW with very lame ideas --

WHILE, he well knows that electric cars are viable and could replace every gas-guzzler on our highways -- See: "Who Killed The Electric Car?"

Meanwhile, with our without Gore, we should all be thinking that we must nationalize our oil industry and take back control of natural resources from the few private families who "own" them!!!

16. It hasn't been discredited
I swear, people here think unnamed sources is some new thing. It's been a journalistic tradition for many, many decades.

14. Gore's Nobel prize probably has Bill Clinton steaming, since he wants it so badly.
And if Gore decides to enter the race, Hillary's head will explode. Right now, it looks as if a Gore candidacy might be the only thing that could take the nomination away from her.
