2. We have the MSM to thank for that. I'm sending another contribution today
because as ugly as it is, it's gonna take money to help him run a campaign that gets noticed.

I'm disappointed that so many people - not just in Delaware - feel that way about candidates other than the top three.

We need to be educated on how we've been influenced by the MSM so we don't take their opinions as statements of fact.

I'm THRILLED that Biden's number two, though - it shows how highly his constituents regard him and that says a lot about the man.

Thank you for posting this!

10. Too many people look at the polls and give up on their candidate.
I'm glad you are still fighting for yours, keep it up! You are dead on with people and the MSM, its terrible but most don't care about politics because they have given up on the politicians. They only see the same old faces on the television and think that they are the only ones out there, so they take the best of the worst. If they actually knew that there were other candidates out there trying to fight for the people, we would see a change in politics but thats not happening and thats why Clinton looks so good in the polls.

If you showed most Americans the speech she made in 2002, sounding like Bush and then voting yes to this illegal war, they would answer that phone call differently.

Keep promoting your candidate and I will do the same for mine and hopefully our children get the best person to run their country.

7.  My home candidate would have to be lousy to vote against them. What were TNers thinking in 2000?

9. Ain't that the truth
It's as if people read only the headlines and hear only catchy sound bites. Bush and Co. had everybody buffaloed with BS from day one and there is no screaming from the talking heads even now about the crimes he has committed and the need for impeachment.

Are people learning? Elections are serious stuff and especially with our troops sitting in the middle of a country that doesn't want us there. Biden's the only one really speaking out clearly about Iraq. Others just say they will leave but leave a "few" to protect and advise. Hummm?

12. Money makes all the difference, and that's hurting our democracy
All it would take is a good showing in Iowa and/or New Hampshire and those numbers would change. The man needs to be heard so that people can make an honest comparison between him and the other candidates. Then it becomes obvious that he is the most qualified candidate to be president. And he is.

13. Being from Delaware and a Biden die-hard,
Edited on Sat Oct-13-07 12:44 PM by demommom
I am disappointed in my fellow Delawareans, especially the democrats. I feel their loyalty should be with the one who has been loyal to them.
However I am encouraged by the rest of the poll which points to the fact that they like him and feel he would be a good president.
I know that he is well liked and respected in our state as is obvious by the number of years we have continued to elect him and the fact that we also elected his son, Beau, Attorney General of our state. As I have said before,I am not giving up as long as he is not giving up. I am also not ready to give up on Delaware either. Nothing is predictable in this
election.
