The MEDIA is doing it AGAIN |
|
First it was Obama then Thompson and now there NEW punching bag is Gore. They prop these people up in the media to run for President and the foolish candidates fall for it get into the Presidential race and the media pundits bash and go after them with full force NEGATIVELY.Gore isn't going to fall for it because he's already been through what the media does to a person running for President. in 2000 Gore was repeatedly attacked by the media and Bush was there savior and now look we have a DUMB ASS for President that got us in a war(with the help of some democrats) and Gore has done a good job as a regular citizen.

1. They are doing it to Gore because they are scared shitless of |
|
him. They beat the crap out of him in 2000 and he still won until the Supremes stuck their noses into it. Big business and the filthy rich are terrified of Gore. That's why he should run. He could campaign from his front porch and still win in a landslide against any of the jerks the Repukes have rounded up. I keep thinking they HAVE something on Hillary that they will either use to keep her from getting elected or to keep her in line.

2. If I were Al Gore, you couldn't pay me enough to run again. |
|
Craig Crawford let the air out of Tweety tonight when he said Gore doesn't need the presidency. Tweety was so shocked and visibly hurt that he couldn't continue to goad Gore into knocking "The Clintons" out of the race.
Al Gore is a world leader now, respected as much as a president - there is no reason for him to lower himself to run as the head of nation that is no longer respected or a world power.

5. he's doing that now, despite the best efforts of our policymakers... |
|
to drag us further into the gutter.
The lesson I'm learning is that we're going to have to work outside the system to make real change.

6. Wouldn't it be better to be in the oval office than to try to clean up |

but I'm hedging my bets. the worst thing that could happen is another kick-ass music festival and another string of accomplishments over the next 4+ years. Point is, here we are bellyaching over what our elected officials are going to do, and Gore's doing so much without even being in politics.
