Chris is speaking truth tonight, both in ref. to those claiming Obama is going negative and about the strong-arm tactics used by campaigns in getting media coverage. Worth catching the replay.

But I think he kisses butt for his own purposes, rather than to fulfill demands some campaigns make when booking. He said he wouldn't have a guest with restricting terms, but would just talk about him or her.

Chris was talking about the deals made when candidates are booked ~ supposedly his show doesn't give them the special terms they get from the networks (Kurtz book).

(It's eye-opening to hear about the tactics used to control the discussion.)
