What Will The Democrats Response Be To Gen Sanchez?
Gen. Ricardo Sanchez, the former top commander in Iraq said today that the war was "a nightmare with no end in sight", and that "The administration, Congress and the entire inter-agency, especially the State Department, must shoulder responsibility for the catastrophic failure, and the American people must hold them accountable".

How do you think the congressional Democrats will respond to this?

and then give excuses as to why they enabled Bush if the past is anything to go on. I hope I'm wrong, and the Congressional Democrats have a mass epiphany and proceed with the impeachments of both Bush and Cheney.

4. "A nightmare with no end in sight"
That's what happens when you storm into a country, with no plan on how to get out.

The first rule, was always supposed to be not to go in anywhere, unless you had an Exit Strategy, but of course like everything else, Bush thinks he knows EVERYTHING and yet he knows jackshit.

As many said pre-invasion, if they went in, it would turn into a Quagmire, and it has, and it's getting worse and all with minimal achievement....Iraq is WORSE now than when Saddam Hussein was in charge.

Thousands of soldiers and countless thousands of Iraqi's have pretty much died for NOTHING.

7. Of course Iraq's oil doesn't even belong to the Iraqi's anymore
Hopefully more soldiers AREN'T going to have to die for Iran's oil, because that's primarily what all the war-mongering on Iran is actually about.

That Iran has MEGA oil....and Bush/Cheney would like to get their grubby little mitts on it.

5. I don't think they should do anything. Why politicize it? Let his words
stand on their own, and seep into the public consciousness. Besides, it's not like he thinks the war should end. Military leaders often refuse to admit it's time to leave, I've noticed. I'm guessing they can't conceive of not being necessary or part of the solution, or of leaving their "work" behind for the "natives" to fuck up.
